HORIZON Expert Safety Culture Forum Successfully Held in Karaganda
The event became an important dialogue platform for regional professionals. The forum brought together occupational health and safety managers and specialists, HR Directors, technical managers, and corporate training department instructors.

The day's programme was focused on finding effective and applicable solutions in the field of occupational safety. Under the direction of forum moderator Askhat Yeraliyev — a recognised corporate culture expert, member of the international Institute of Consulting (IoC) and the British IOSH — participants conducted an in-depth analysis of common challenges affecting the effectiveness of occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS).

Key forum highlights:
- Expert insight: Participants were introduced to modern international concepts of safety leadership and the processes for building a robust corporate culture.
- Practical application: A key part of the event was the business game. In a dialogue format, colleagues from various industries conducted a brainstorming session, working through key challenges and sharing successful case studies from their enterprises.
- Applied tools: The focus was on practical application — managers received ready-to-use behavioural models that can be immediately implemented within their teams, and also mastered an approach to internal culture level assessment linked to OHSMS processes.
The event concluded with a lively Q&A session and the formal presentation of participant certificates.

The Karaganda forum once again confirmed the high demand from businesses for quality networking and a more mindful approach to workplace safety. HORIZON continues its mission of implementing global best practices, helping enterprises build an effective and safe working environment.
