COMPEX COURSE PROGRAM

All four modules (Ex01-Ex04) of the training, are related to work in an explosive environment with the presence of a gas leak risk at the enterprise. the CompEx Ex01-Ex04 training program consists of theoretical and practical parts. In conclusion, there will be conducted knowledge verification, and by its results, an International certificate (CompEx CERTIFICATE) shall be issued. The following topics are addressed in the learning process:

  • national legislative requirements;
  • international standards;
  • technical regulation of the Customs Union;
  • directives of the EU, describing requirements to the equipment and operation in explosive environments (ATEX);
  • Class of IP protection;
  • compliance with the requirements of IEC and GOST;
  • Gases explosion hazard;
  • the lower and upper limits of the explosion;
  • classification of hazardous areas;
  • sources of ignition;
  • categories, marking, and selection of electrical equipment;

MORE ABOUT COMPEX MODULES

  • Modules of CompEx training program have different directions:
  • EX01. Preparation and installation of the equipment with the types of protection Ex “d”, “n”, “e”, “d”
  • EX02. Inspection and maintenance of the equipment with the types of protection Ex «d», «n», «e» and «p»;
  • EX03. Preparation and installation of the systems Ex «i»;
  • EX04. Inspection and maintenance of systems Ex «i».
  • Duration of each course – 5 days. Three days of these are given to theory and two days practical exam.
  • Training is conducted in Russian in groups up to 10 people.
