Delivery Formats

Distance learning / online

Part-time study with a few hours of classes per day, totalling at least 10 study days

Full-time classroom study over two weeks including weekends

Certification

To obtain the international NEBOSH IGC certificate, candidates must pass two assessments

IG1

Unit IG1 Assessment

Conducted remotely, open-book, subject to strict anti-plagiarism rules. Candidates have 24 hours to complete and submit their work online. This assessment evaluates knowledge of occupational health and safety management systems and requires analytical thinking.

IG2

Unit IG2 Assessment

A remotely completed practical risk assessment with a management action plan. Candidates have 10 working days to complete this assessment.

Grading Standards

Distinction:

75 marks or above

Credit:

65 – 74 marks

Pass:

45 – 64 marks
